Our company has evolved, over the last 15 years, from the in-house training department of parent company RSK Hi-Line, one of the UK’s largest arboricultural companies, into a well-respected independent training provider.

Our innovative school, based near Exeter, UK, offers in-depth guidance courses and/or assessments provided by professionals with decades of experience within the arboriculture industry and land-based sector.

In 2021, we joined the RSK group, a global leader in the delivery of sustainable solutions. Now, we are part of a family of more than 175 environmental, engineering and technical services businesses, collaborating to curate and refine practical solutions to some of the greatest challenges societies have ever faced. These challenges, and the responses to them, are perhaps best captured by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: “a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future”.

“Atkinson Tree Services have used Hi-Line Training for a number of years now and we find the training extremely relevant and tailored to tree surgery in the real world. I have complete confidence that any staff I send to Hi-Line Training courses come back to the team having not only gained their certification but also having been taught many other useful techniques that help them add value to the team straight away.”

Dave Atkinson, Atkinson Tree Services

“AC have been using Hi-Line Training for several years now and the reason for this is their professionalism and knowledge of the industry. From admin right through to the training/assessment, Hi-Line Training provide that level of service not seen elsewhere. AC have been using Hi-Line Training for first aid and utility arb training and have seen many of our employees visit their training centre in Exeter.”

Les Saunders, AC Landscapes & Treeworks UK Ltd

“They have all come away with nothing but admiration for the training they received. Their first aid courses are fantastic and offer a realistic course suited to the arb industry. A course which allows our staff to fully engage and learn in a more familiar setting rather than in a classroom. AC will continue to use Hi-Line Training as one of our main training providers as we have the confidence our staff will be given the best training possible. Thank you to Kirsty and the team for your services.”

Les Saunders, AC Landscapes & Treeworks UK Ltd

“We have been using Hi-Line Training for several years now for our arborist teams and despite the fact they are not local to us they are always worth the extra miles as the training is the highest quality we have ever come across in the industry. From the first aid training to the arb specific courses and the tailor-made aerial rescue/2 rope working days they have run for us, the content is always current, relevant to our industry, well delivered and engaging and Matt’s knowledge means that our guys really respect him and will happily listen and learn from him.”

Jenny Long, Director, Chapel Tree Services

“We also value the fact that Hi-Line Training will fail staff when they are not up to standard in assessments – meaning we can trust the qualifications we gain from them. All of this combined with Kirsty’s super organisational skill and knowledge and the fact that they are lovely people means that Hi-Line Training will always be our first choice for training.”
